OVERVIEW:
TRETOFLAMIN is a topical anti inflammatory, antipruritic cream used safely in a wide variety of skin disorders.  

Composition:
Tretoflamin cream is presented as a white water miscible cream, containing 0.025 % w / w Flucinolone Acetonide.

 

Pharmacological Action:
Tretoflamin has anti-inflammatory & antipruritic actions. Tretoflamin is thought to act by the induction of phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins which control the biosynthesis of potent inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes by inhibiting the release of their common precursor arachidonic acid, which is released from membrane phospholipids by phospholipase A2.
Indications/ Uses:
Tretoflamin is used topically in cases of Eczema & Dermatitis; Atopic Dermatitis, Contact Dermatitis, Seborrheic Dermatitis, Psoriasis and Otitis Externa,

Community acquired pneumonia
 Acute bacterial exacerbration of chronic bronchitis
Acute sinusitis
Acute otitis media
Complicate and uncomplicated urinary tract infection
Post-surgical infection
Complicated skin and soft tissue infections
Pelvic inflammatory disorders
Typhoid and paratyphoid fever.

   

Dosage:
Unless otherwise prescribed, A small quantity of Tretoflamin is applied lightly to the affected area two or three times a day. These recommendations apply to both children and adults, including the elderly.
